An amalgamation of nature and technology, Tona is a meditative journey into the symbiosis of urban and rural environmental noise. Gentle reverberations of summer storms, prairie birds, murmured crowds, and intricate found sound accompanied by tape loops, warbling synths, and mystical soundscapes craft a delicate microcosm of emotive ambient music. Written, recorded, mixed, and mastered during the summer months of July and August 2017, Tona began construction immediately following the release of The Hadron Pond. Each track was conceived as a part of a seamless whole while also maintaining distinction by means of dedicated track art.
