Concrete Colored Paint, or CCP, is a Peter Kris travel project. Setting out to document various favorite spots with sound in the hope of remembering such places later in life, CCP rambles from location to location, seeking to gather as much audio as necessary to form an audio memory. Past sites for recordings include the U.S/Mexico border, North Nevada, Central California, Southern Arizona, Puerto Rico, and New Mexico. The audio created for this cassette primarily comes from Taiwan. As a child of the San Gabriel Valley, Kris always felt that Taiwan was close by, but did not gain the chance to visit until recently. These recordings are a collection of some favorite sounds gathered while on location.
