Dawid Scumwalski I remember I have purchased a TORSCHLUSSPANIK tape on a whim a couple of years ago, can't remember the title off the top of my head (excuse me, I'm writing the reviews during work breaks), but it was excellent cut-up harsh noise. "Micropenis Envy" is bordering on too-weird-for-me, but I did enjoy it. There are some wonderful passages mixed in with 'stupid sounds' (a phrase that stuck with me after listening to one of NOISEXTRA podcasts). I do recommend giving it a chance.

Torschlusspanik is the experimental moniker of the multi-talented, Tennessee-based artist Luna Mitchell. A follow-up to last year's "Intersexual Healing" on No Rent Records and her second release on Orb, this new tape features more of her unique and intricate style of sound collage that has come to be expected from this project. Garbled incantations, chopped field recordings, and the indecipherable in-between collide in beautiful, hectic harmony across these 8 new tracks.
