I’VE GOT PROBLEMS is the newest record from me, Lincoln, Nebraska’s 1manbandgod PROBLEMS, aka Darren Keen. French house influenced, punk rock informed “raw frequency dance music” (thanks Keith Rankin for that quote) that unlocks some strange creativity by setting a few simple boundaries. I’m old now and I’ve been around the block a few times. I know that the universe will provide for me the little bit that I need to go on, so these days I just prioritize things based on how fun they seem. I think it’s the only way I can do this without losing my mind, so enjoy a bunch of bananas songs about dogs and junk food. I’ll see you down the road somewhere, I hope.

Deep, mind-bending psych. I don't know how it was put together, but it feels very organic, like early Nurse With Wound. I could see Gordon, Dilloway, and Nace sitting among a pile of junk and miles of tape, splicing together this album piece by piece. Levrikon
